The money was raised at our Easter Event in April 🐰☀️ Thank you to everyone who came to the event and supported this amazing charity! Special thanks to @phoenix.aviation for letting us use GBWUH for the event – Hamish & the Archer were such a hit! It was a really fun day, and great to see so many from the local community engage with the Ops and Tower team to learn more about Solent Airport ✈️

Another season comes to an end
Many more wonderful families have benefitted this year from time away to make forever memories. All this because of you – we could not do it without you. Thank you so very much.
We already have bookings for next year and with all the referrals we receive (and if we had the funds)we could fill at least two more vans each year. So we sincerely hope that you will continue to support Charlie’s Beach Hut and make a difference to as many families as possible during the most challenging time of their lives ⭐️
Tim Allport
A huge thank you and congratulations to Tim Allport for ticking off a life-long bucket list item by jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft in support of Charlie’s Charlie’s Beach Hut. Thank you to the Red Devils for taking Tim up and throwing him out all the incredibly kind people who donated. Tim raised an amazing £1,300 for Charlie’s with every penny going to families to help the find Their Wonderful in Today.
Thank you Tim and looking forward to hearing all about the jump when we next see you. ❤️

What a night we had last night being part of an incredible room of people raising money for Charlie’s Beach Hut.
Where do we begin!….so many thank you’s!
The hugest of thank you’s of course must go to Arty’s at Clarence Marina for providing the stage for the awesome Tony (Raymond) and Tracey to host this incredible music quiz for Charlie’s’. Everyone was so well looked after and you all worked extremely hard.
Then of course our quizmaster and his oh so glamorous assistant….delivering an epic music quiz with comedic interludes! It was totally brilliant and we fully appreciate the hours that must have gone in to compling and perfecting the delivery of such a fabulous quiz.
And then there was the fabulous raffle. Thank you to everyone who brought such amazing prizes with them; to those who couldn’t be there but still sent prizes along and to all the local businesses who gave so generously (Arty’s, Caffe Lee – Cafe/Bar, Breezes, Lulu Loves, Kaizen, Solent Hotel, Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club, Kelly Kirby Haircuts and Design, Stitches Comedy Club, Purely Scrumptious…to name but a few). We were blown over with their kindness and the raffle raised a staggering sum of money for ‘Charlie’s’.
And of course last but by no means least…. The Music Quizzers! What a clever and very generous bunch! Congratulations to the Bayhouse Bellends who reigned supreme! (it was a classy gig I promise – this team name was in fact tame by comparison and I would be banned from FB if I were to list them!) Well done ladies and thank you. And to the lovely team of just two ladies who took the pressure off us by allowing us to not come in final place on this occasion. We hope you enjoy the life’s work of Daniel O’Donnel CD that you won!
So that just leaves the drum roll of the final amount raised by all these wonderful humans….
£770.00 🥳⭐️🥳⭐️🥳⭐️🥳⭐️. This will provide a family a full weeks holiday at ‘Charlie’s’ when they most need it. Truly humbling – thank you.
Here’s to the next one on Sept 19th. Help raise funds for another charity and have a great night in the process. We’re already booked in! Just call Arty’s at Clarence Marina to book. Last night was a sell out so get in early. And why not quiz and dine as we did….food is delicious x

Thank you to everyone who came down and supported our Easter Fun Day earlier today despite the wind. 💨🌫
Big shout out to Phoenix Aviation for putting their PA28 on display as well as Janet and Lisa Samways for donating the hampers for our mini raffle.
All lucky winners have now been contacted or been left voice messages. The total amount raised was £323.90 and that will all go towards our local charity Charlie’s Beach Hut.

Wheatsheaf Quiz Night
We would like to send out a huge thank you to Landlord Mark, Treasurer Ian, Quizmaster Richard and all the wonderful patrons of The Wheatsheaf Pub in Titchfield who have raised a staggering £2141.79 for Charlie’s Beach Hut. Weekly quizzes (Sunday nights at 8pm 
) and a courageous head shave by Landlord Mark all contributed to this amazing sum. What a way to end the year. We are truly humbled. With running costs ever increasing, support like this is so gratefully received. Thank you all
